|Now that the wind is whipping and we are waking up to 32 degrees outside, I thought it would be nice if I took you back to late August. That is the time of year that I cherish when I get to photograph Amy, Brett, and Tate on Nantucket. Warm sand, smiles everywhere, and especially one very happy boy who gets to show off how durable his new outfits can be when faced with the waters off Nantucket. Tate is a boy through and through and every chance he gets to plunge into the water is a happy time for him. This is exactly who he is at this stage of his life and what I truly love about these photos.
Amy and Brett, you are raising one very cool and kind son. I love the fun we always have during your sessions and I can't wait for the next one! Thank you again for letting me document this time in your lives. xoxoxo
|Leave it to you, Russell, to find a beautiful location for, not only your family vacation, but our session as well. Buttermilk Falls was gorgeous! It may have been a hot summer day, but the colors and light blew me away. All that green!
Just when I thought Bubba couldn't get any cuter, he did! and his new sister, Alexandra....come on! she's so stinkin' cute! good job Helen and Russell :)
You know I would go to the ends of the earth to photograph your family just because you're you. You always keep me laughing, and running, and laughing some more. Stay tuned for our next session together....
|Claire and Lee, your wedding was AHHHHHMAZING! You both are so beautiful as individuals but even better when you're together. The fact that you began seeing each other when you were just kids makes your connection even better. You really are best friends.
Steve and I loved being a part of your day at the Tappan Hill Mansion. You couldn't have picked a more ideal location for your wedding. Every detail was perfect. The view overlooking the ceremony was incredible and when we walked into your reception our jaws dropped. The flowers, the lighting, the candles, it was all gorgeous.
My favorite part of the day though was your first look. To see Lee's emotions while you were walking up behind him made me cry and his description of it was priceless. What did you say Lee? "that was a #@&* rush"! First looks are intense and you felt it all.
Thank you both for letting us be a part of such a big day in your lives. I wish you a lifetime of happiness! xoxo
|Margaret and Greg tied the knot!! and they did it with all of their friends and family gathered around them overlooking the water at Amarante's Sea Cliff in New Haven. Their wedding was a reflection of who they are as a couple, relaxed, low key, fun, kind, and loving. Their wedding had it all.
Although I was only there for part of their wedding day, I had a great time and the opportunity to get to know their friends and family. They have a very close knit group of friends and it was so good to see the love they had for them. Margaret and Greg, you have a wonderful support system surrounding you. You are going to have an amazing life together!
Thank you for letting me photograph your wedding! xoxoxo
Head down under the last photo to see their slideshow. Enjoy!

|On a hot summer day, I made my way to Central Park in NYC to meet and photograph Curt, Kendra, Drew. We picked a very special location where the flowers are incredible and the texture of the wood throughout make my heart happy. The Shakespeare Garden is a hidden gem inside Central Park. There is so much exploring to do there and they were up for it. It may have been super hot but they all photographed beautifully and looked cool doing it. Drew is off to college now so it was important that we took these photos before he left. Thank you Kendra, Curt, and Drew for a fantastic session! Much success to you Drew :)
