Branford, CT Baby Session of Lucca : CT Baby Photographer

Lucca!!! I just can't get over how CUTE this boy is! From the moment I walked into their home, Lucca was all smiles. Smiles and giggles. It wasn't for me though. It was for his Grandmother and Great Grandmother. They were my back up comedy duo providing all the great reasons to smile.

When Karen contacted me to photograph her grandson, I was thrilled. I mean really, this boy was made for the camera. I think my comedy act of Karen and Marcy tired out long before Lucca did. If anyone needs some comic relief, please contact Karen and Marcy.

Karen, thank you again for letting me photograph your beautiful grandson!

Madison, CT Family Session of Krista, Kevin & Brody : CT Family Photographer

How beautiful is this fall session that I got to photograph for Krista, Kevin, Brody, and Finn! The landscape at Hammonasset State Park in every season is incredible, but I find it exceptional in the fall. I had the great joy of photographing Krista, Kevin, and the newest member of their family - Brody, on a gorgeous late afternoon at Meigs Point. Although Brody was pretty new at this modeling thing, he hung in there like a champ. I am so honored that I could photograph this gorgeous little family at this stage for them.

Beginning a family is an incredible blessing. "A new baby is like the beginning of all things - wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities"

Thank you Krista and Kevin for trusting me to photograph this chapter for you!

Madison, CT Family Session of the Dow Family : CT Family Photographer

When I think of this family, and this session, I can't help but smile. Jeff contacted me to photograph his family following a vow renewal ceremony of he and his beautiful wife, Linda. A vow renewal! That speaks volumes about their love. I was so happy to be a part of their day.

With their children, Catie and Gavin, by their side, we met at Hamonassett State Park for some family photos by the water. We had a very relaxed and fun time, allowing them to enjoy some quality family time together. Priceless.

I love to photograph families, especially when the occasion is as special as this one. Jeff, I can't thank you enough for letting me be able to create special memories of this wonderful day for you. It was an honor!

Elizabeth Park Sibling Session of Jack & Luke : CT Family Photographer

I love shooting at the golden hour. That beautiful soft buttery light leaves me speechless every time. As soon as I arrive to a session, the first thing I do is scope out where that soft warm light is. It's just so gorgeous and enhances every image 1000%. Sometimes parents are concerned that their kids might be more tired at the that time of day and may not be up for it, but I have found that once they arrive, there's an energy that always seems to appear right when we need it!

Jack and Luke brought their cheerful energy and sibling love to this session. Two young boys and a park to run around at golden hour - it couldn't get any better! I'm smiling just thinking of our time together. Jack and Luke, because you have each other, you will always have a friend. Thank you Caroline for letting me photograph your boys at this fun stage of their lives. I had a blast!

Branford, CT Engagement Session of Emily & Matt : CT Engagement Photographer

When I think back to this session with Matt and Emily, I am filled with gratitude. I am grateful that they shared themselves with me during their engagement session and wedding. I am grateful that they found the strength and courage to get married during this crazy pandemic year, and share their joy with those closest to them. I am grateful for this job that lets me get to know such kind and generous people as Emily and Matt.

Although it's been such a difficult year for weddings, it has been a surprisingly incredible gift for a lot of couples to be rid of the pressure of the "perfect" wedding. Sometimes in life, we hold so tightly to the things we think will make us happy. When intense changes come at us (like a pandemic) we may fear that "perfect" day is lost. Instead, it may just be that an even greater gift is found. A more stunning, rich, and fulfilling day takes place in so many unexpected ways. That is exactly what I witnessed on Emily and Matt's wedding day. It was perfect in it's simplicity.

Thank you Matt and Emily for letting me be a part of your beautiful engagement session and wedding. You are two of the kindest people and I wish you all the best! xoxo
