|I photographed this gorgeous family on the beautiful beach of Hammonasset State Park on not one, but two days. Yes, I got to enjoy their company twice and it was my great fortune. Sometimes it happens that a little one, like August, is just not up for a photo session. It is completely ok and understandable. So, we make a back-up date for such occasions.
The second round had more smiles but I really did love each session equally. There is something so poetically beautiful and peaceful about this first image. When I look at this, I see so much love, comfort, and safety. August is one lucky little boy being held in the arms of his parents. Family. Love.
Thank you Kristin, Ryan and August for being such a wonderful trio to photograph. You have such a special family. xoxo
|I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this wonderful family back on a late September afternoon at Hammonasset State Park. Although I have photographed at Hammonasset so many times, it never gets old and there are always new backdrops to discover.
I met Amit, Jigna, Jai, Jaan, and Aaj at Meigs Point in the park and it was the perfect location for them. Just look at how the colors they wore matched the scenery perfectly! It was a bit windy that day so going around the corner to the more beachy area was out of the question and it was a good thing it was. The rocky terrain and color scheme fit them to a T !
Even though this is the first time we met, I was completely comfortable with this amazing family. Amit and Jigna, you are raising three awesome young men. They are as nice as they are adorable.
Thank you all for being so fantastic to photograph! I can't wait for our next round :)
|I met this gorgeous family on a beautiful September afternoon at Southport Beach. They were all insanely cute and I just knew I was in for a treat. Elaine, Evan, Gavin, Charlotte, and little Georgia were amazing to photograph. Each one brought a smile bigger then next.
They sat sweetly for me and then we promptly moved on to some fun play time. Examining snails and playing on the rocks were definitely in order for these three awesome kids! This session showed me how much fun this family has together. So much joy.
Thank you all for being so wonderful from the moment we met. I look forward to our next time!
|I met Maria and Matt and their three boys, Austin, Alex, and Andrew at their house on a beautiful, warm Sunday morning . With three active boys, it's extra hard to make time to get everyone together for a portrait session but Maria persevered and WE DID IT!!! Thank you Maria for sticking with it.
You know these boys of yours are only this age once and photographing them at this stage is so special. I'm just an old sentimental fool who knows how important it is to make time for this little slice of history.
Maria and Matt, you are raising three fine young men. I had so much fun with all of you and can't wait to do it again! :)

|This is the first time that I have had the privilege to photograph this adorable family, and yet, I feel like we go way back. They're so incredibly easy to be around and, as you can see, have so much fun together. Erin, Brendan, Clare, and Declan, you were all a dream to photograph. From the moment you stepped out of your car and onto the beach, you were all smiles.
Hammonasset was the perfect place for you! Who doesn't love to see their kids laughing and running down the beach having the time of their lives!
Thank you for letting me photograph your wonderful family! You are all so stinkin' CUTE!!!
