|I'm still dreaming over this family session, and party, honoring Jack's milestone first birthday. It went beyond all that I thought it would be. Lauren and Spencer had thought of a few great places to have their family session. One being a beach under the Golden Gate Bridge - so cool! The interesting thing about photographing a family in San Francisco is you just never know what kind of weather you will have from minute to minute. We were in a beautiful park just minutes before where the sun was shining and, by the time we made our way to the beach, the fog had rolled in. But, it did make for a cool vibe in the background.
Since this was a two day affair, I am only going to offer you a smattering of ALL the photos taken while I was with them. It's overwhelming how photogenic this family is, making it a very difficult decision on what to post here - soooooo many choices!
Right before the birthday bash, we had some quiet time back at their home. The snuggles with both Jack and his big brother, Wells, were priceless. I just can't get enough of those smiles! What an adventure.
Thank you Lauren, Spencer, Wells, and Jack, for letting me photograph you in all your special places! xoxo
|Meet Cameron. She's fun, happy, caring, and all out gorgeous!
I had the honor of photographing her, at Hammonasset State Park, for her senior portraits. I love getting to spend time with the people I photograph. I have met so many wonderful people along the way and Cameron and her mom are top of the list. True beauty is more than what you see on the outside, it's the soul and spirit that lies deep within. Cameron, from the moment I met you, I could see the true beauty of you radiating right through that smile of yours.
You are going to go on to do amazing things with your life. I know it! Thank you for letting me photograph you at this stage of your life and, thank you Sandy, for jumping in a few of the photos. Cameron will treasure those forever! xoxo
|I had the honor of photographing Laura and Steve in a celebration of their love for each other. We met at a gorgeous location in Greenwich for their engagement session. Although it was our first time meeting each other, we instantly hit it off. So many laughs, so much joy. Laura and Steve are amazing together. Every time they looked at each other, their faces lit up. It was sooooo easy to photograph their connection. Couple that with a gorgeous location, and I was over the moon happy. Beach roses, water views, and a gentle sea breeze surrounded them perfectly.
Laura and Steve, thank you so much for trusting me with your engagement photos. You are going to have such a joy filled life with each other. I know it!
|I am over the moon crazy happy for this family!! Claire and Lee are PARENTS! Meet Taylor Jean Bly, born on April 5th and already capturing the hearts of everyone she comes across. Even her big fur brother, Cooper, is smitten by this adorable baby. If Taylor cries, Cooper goes running right to her to make sure she's ok. So cute!
I had the honor of photographing Claire and Lee's wedding two years ago and, now, I had an even bigger honor of photographing the beginning of their family. Yes, I had a tear in my eye during this session. These two are very special.
Claire and Lee, I am so so so thrilled for both of you. You are going to be amazing parents to Taylor. She is not only absolutely adorable, but so blessed to have the two of you by her side. I can't wait to see the three of you grow together (four, I mean - how could I forget Coop!)

|Where do I even begin? This may be the longest slideshow I have ever put together, and that's okay, because, it's Emily and Andrew, and they are one of the most amazing couples ever!
I have known Emily and her family for many years now. I photographed her sister's wedding 11 years ago, and have had this family in my life since. When I'm around them, they always make me feel like a part of their clan and I couldn't be happier. As soon as I met Andrew, I knew 100% that this incredible guy was the one for Emily! I just adore the two of them so much, and know that they are going to have the BEST life together!
Emily and Andrew decided to do a First Look and see each other prior to the ceremony. This was a great decision! When Andrew saw Emily for the first time.....even I was teary watching it unfold. Andrews expression was priceless. They had their wedding ceremony at the Chapel of St. Thomas More at Yale University, followed by a blast of a reception at the New Haven Lawn Club. Everything was perfect and my sidekick for the day, Steve, and I had the best time!
I could seriously go on and on about them and their beautiful wedding day, but I will leave you with their slideshow, that will say it all for me. Head down under the last photo and enjoy the show!
All my love to you, Emily and Andrew! I can't wait to see what's next :) xoxoxoxo
