|The best part of this engagement session was EVERYTHING! I can't tell you how much I loved hanging out with, and photographing, Alex and Dylan! They chose Cotton Hollow Preserve in Glastonbury, CT for their session. This is a favorite and very meaningful place for both of them and since they spend so much time there, trail running and biking, it was a great opportunity for me to capture them at a slower and more romantic pace. From trees, to rocks, to the peaceful sound of the running water, it was ideal.
Alex and Dylan will be married this September, and I am SO SO psyched to get another crack at them with my camera! haha! They are two of the kindest and coolest people around, and any chance I get to hang out with them, I'll take!
Alex and Dylan, you are stuck with me as a friend for life. I'll see you in September! xoxo
|I still can't believe I had the honor to photograph this wedding. I have known Mike since he was a little kid, and now, here he is, all grown up and married to the beautiful Deanna. This wedding was extra special to me and I want to thank my trusty side kick for the day, Stephen, for being his awesome self once again! The day was insanely HOT, so we took advantage of the beauty (and the AC) for formal photos inside the Church. The ceremony took place in St. Theresa Church right around the corner from where Deanna grew up and attended mass. What a beautiful place!
Once we all made our way up to the reception at The Candlewood Inn, we were able to stay cool inside with amazing entertainment by the one and only John Saville ! John always gets a packed dance floor.
As soon as the sun started to set, Mike and Deanna were up for some photos outside. Yay! Since we were on beautiful Candlewood Lake, I was hoping for photos outside. Thank you both for being so cooperative and SO GORGEOUS to photograph!
Mike and Deanna, thank you again for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. It meant the world to me. I wish you both a joy filled life together! You two are the coolest :) xoxoxoxo

|Well, now I know - energetic kids and street art are a GREAT mix! From wall to wall to wall, Molly, Ethan, and I made our way down one of the streets in SoHo finding exciting art spaces to photograph in front of. Street art and graffiti make a fantastic back drop and this sister and brother duo enhanced the coolness factor. We were looking for a love wall for Molly, but to our disappointment, someone had recently painted over it so we scoped out new places that worked perfectly. Having a passion for art, Ethan fit right into the Art Is My Healing wall. Molly looked awesome in front of everything we found!
For someone who is found photographing at the beach so much, I found these graffiti walls to be a fantastically colorful step outside my norm. Thank you to Molly, Ethan, and especially their mom, Jennifer, for introducing me to such a great location. What a blast!
I can't wait for the next time!
|Holy Moly!! Annie and Kevin are married, celebrated, and on their way to an amazing future together! and I got to be there to witness, and photograph it. My side kick for the day was the amazing Stephen Wang, who made the day even brighter for us. Thank you Steve for being your wonderful self. We met at the Owenego Inn where the celebrations were already underway. The Owenego does an amazing job at making each wedding so special, and this was no different - it was perfect from start to finish. Annie's aunt Cynthia, of Cynthia's Flower Shop did such a beautiful job with all of the flowers. They were so unique and special for Annie and Kevin.
Since Annie and Kevin had their ceremony prior to this day, it was party time from the start. Bill from Local Motion Entertainment had everyone on the dance floor. He's awesome!
Annie and Kevin, thank you so much for letting Steve and I be a part of your amazing day. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness and many many fabulous puns for my pun man, Kevin :)

|Now that it's nice and warm out, let me take you back to a FREEZING cold day in November. Yes, Brrrrrrrr! I caught up with Tim, Suzanne, Doug, and Alyse at their summer home in Old Saybrook. The location is ideal - right on the water. With sand under our feet and that gorgeous end of day light, it was all so perfect. The temperature on the other hand, well....
These four were such troopers though. They let me take them around a bit and photograph them until the sun set. I can't even begin to express how much I adore this family. Every single one of them is so kind and so easy to be with, but together, they are an amazingly loving family. Plain and simple - they make me smile :)
Thank you all for sharing your beautiful family and beach with me. I always love our time together. xoxoxoxo
