|Let me take you back to a time when everything was joyful and carefree. A time when the words like quarantine and covid-19 were not even a thought for any of us. All our little complaints back then seem like nothing now. Ohhhhh take me back!
Well, let's go!
Meet baby Hudson and his mom, Bri. Two of the most gorgeous individuals on the planet. These two make it sooooo easy to photograph the loving bond between them. The way they look at each other, smile and laugh together, and snuggle up on each other made every second I was with them pure joy. Since I had the honor of photographing Bri when she was pregnant, it was only fitting to take the next step and photograph the beautiful miracle that had been with her for nine months.
Bri and Dan, I am SO happy for both of you - your son, Hudson, is a true blessing and I just know he is going to have an amazing life with both of you!
|The beauty of New England in the fall always amazes me. Add a handsome face to the scene, and you get ... Jason! at Chatfield Hollow State Park. Jason was a real trooper as I carted him all around the park. Luckily his dad was there to offer humor (?) which always seemed to put a smile on Jason's face. These two have a special sort of funny bond. Ava, you left me alone with them - how do you do it? hahaha! Since it's your anniversary today, I thought I would treat you and Paul to a blog post of your favorite son. 31 years together and two great kids to show for it. Congratulations!
Jason, thank you for putting up with me and my camera....and your dads jokes :) I still can't believe this session was for your SENIOR photos. How did that happen? I can't wait to see what great things you are going to accomplish out there in the world!
|It's that time of year again when I get to share one of my favorite little girls with you. Alessia! This year we met at Chatfield Hollow State Park and it was the perfect spot. We pretty much had the place to ourselves and there was still some color left from the Fall foliage. I love that place.
From the time she was just a baby all the way to this session, I have had the privilege of photographing her cuteness. Thank you Kristen and Lou for always entrusting your yearly photo session with me. It's always SO fantastic to get to spend time with you. Alessia is becoming quite the little lady and is a complete reflection of the love you have poured into her.
Until next year! xoxo
|This seems like the perfect time to bring you all back to one of the most gorgeous Fall days. A time when the term "social distancing" was not on everyone's mind. Of course, social distancing is not a problem when I'm photographing people. With the lens I use, I can be wayyyyy far away from my subject and yet make it seem like I'm right there up close and personal. I actually like to give my subjects space when I'm photographing them. It makes everyone more comfortable and more themselves when a camera is not right in their face. I guess I've been a social distancer for a while now. Go figure.
Let me get back on track with this gorgeous couple and their incredible engagement session. Ali & Pierre will be getting married this November on Hilton Head and I cannot WAIT! Just look at these two! They're so amazing to photograph and just to be with. I can't tell you how psyched I am to be traveling to Hilton Head for their wedding. These two? A beach? Come on - it's all so good.
Ali and Pierre, thank you, thank you, thank you for being you and allowing me to photograph this important time in your lives. See you soon! xoxo

|One of my all time favorite subjects has finally made his way to the blog! Meet Harry. When I say this young man was one of the nicest, most polite, pleasant, and cooperative guys to photograph, I mean it. Harry was the BEST!
I met up with Harry and his mom in a section of Central Park that I absolutely love called the Shakespeare Garden . It is such a beautiful spot in every season. This time I was able to enjoy it in the Fall, when the colors on the leaves were ideal. The flowers in the gardens were past their prime, but the foliage was peak.
You may not be able to tell from Harry's senior photos, but the park has a LOT of people in it. That's the beauty of this one particular area, you can find little pockets of beauty without anyone around.
Sara and Harry, thank you both so much for being incredibly easy to be with. Yours is a special bond!
