|On a hot and sunny day in September, I met Todd, Grace, and Nicholas at the TPC River Highlands for a fun family session. With a baby and a dog, these sessions need to move rather quickly to keep all engaged and happy. Luckily we found a wonderful shady spot with beautiful landscape and coloring in the background. I don't usually do a mid-day session because of lighting but this one worked out beautifully. If every scene could look this beautiful, I would photograph all day long :)
Thank you Todd, Grace, and Nicholas for being to gorgeous to photograph. I love your little family!
|Meeting this family and getting to photograph their sweet relationships with one another was truly one of the highlights of my summer sessions. When Sandy contacted me to photograph her family at Edgerton Park, I was elated to find out that, not only was her mother coming, but also her brother and his family from New York, as well. It was so special and so much fun. I felt so comfortable right from the start, that I couldn't believe it was the first time I was meeting them.
Photographing all of the relationships within an extended family is so important to me. Call me a sentimental old fool, but I believe that it is every single one of our relationships that help build the person we are. Every one of them.
Sandy, thank you so much for letting me photograph this beautiful family of yours. You brought me so much joy!
|I had the honor of meeting and photographing a wonderful family in one of my all time favorite places...Nantucket! I can't get enough of this Island. One thing in particular that I love about my job, is getting to meet new people. Jacob, Koren, and little Charlotte couldn't be nicer. Since Charlotte wasn't 100% convinced about the wonderful feeling of sand, we were fortunate to have steps to work with, which were aptly available since we were on Steps Beach. Great choice Koren!
Thank you all for letting me photograph your adorable family on Nantucket. I had a blast!
|Ray, Sue, Brian and David were AMAZING to photograph! What a fun family! Even though it was the first time that we had met, I was instantly at ease and felt like I had known them for a long time. Sue and Ray, you had me laughing from hello :)
Brian and David, you definitely brought your A game to this session. Senior year and Eighth grade? no way! You are both kind and mature beyond your years and are going to have fantastic futures at whatever you choose.
Thank you all for being so wonderful to photograph and even better to hang out with. Sue.... you're stuck with me as a friend now! haha :)

|Tate told me that this was the year he was NOT going in the water during this session. I have to say, when he told me this, I was kind of bummed. I look forward to seeing that face of his go from smiling to realllllly smiling when he hits the water! I figured he was going to grow out of it at some point, but I was hoping we had another year. Well...haha...he didn't disappoint. Yay! Tate took the plunge again! Thanks Tate :)
Amy and Brett picked one of the most beautiful spots on Nantucket for this session. We went way out to Smiths Point. Off roading with this family was one of the highlights of the trip. Amy, you never cease to amaze me.
Thank you Brett, Amy, and Tate for bringing me on yet another adventure. I absolutely LOVE photographing your family! xoxoxoxo
