|Where do I even begin to relay how very special this family is to me. Julia and I go back to well before Brandon and Chase came on the scene. This woman is one of the strongest, funniest, and most beautiful people I know. She is an amazing mom to these two boys and is raising them to be really great young men.
We met at a beautiful location in Southbury, CT - Bent of the River Audubon Center. It was all so perfect. As we always do when we see each other, we had many many laughs. Of course, what do two boys bring along but their trusty football. These two can throw and tackle really well, and are so much fun to watch together.
Brandon and Chase, you are two of the luckiest boys in the world to have the mom you have. Julia, you're doing an amazing job! xoxoxo

|Meeting Kristen, Ward, Hailey, and Bowie at their beautiful home on a spectacular Fall day was such a joy for me. I couldn't have asked for a cuter and more photogenic family then these four. When we were going over ideas for where to do their session, Kristen mentioned their backyard. Perfect! The girls were completely comfortable there, the landscape was ideal, and it was a bonus to have their swings right there to play on. We had so much fun! Having a session at home is such a great way to make everyone feel at ease. "Home is where family lives, loves, laughs and your heart never truly leaves".
Thank you Kristen and Ward for inviting me to your home and letting me photograph your beautiful little family! :)
|Lighting makes all the difference. For anyone that hasn't heard me say it yet, photographing an hour before sunset is the best! Danielle and Sean made the scene and the light look even better. We met at Hammonasset State Park at the best light during a beautiful fall day. We had this little slice of heaven all to ourselves.
It's such a bonus to be the only ones at a location so the couple can feel more relaxed. Since we were meeting for the first time, making sure that Danielle and Sean felt relaxed was super important to me. I completely understand that it's tough to freely express affection and emotion outside the home at any time, but especially when a stranger is standing there with a camera pointed at you! yikes! I get it. I honestly do my very best to make everyone feel at ease and comfortable. Even if it means pulling out a few of my dumb jokes.
Everyone should feel at home. They should be able to have fun. They should feel confident.
Danielle and Sean nailed all of it! They were incredible to photograph and they were even better to hang out with!
Thank you both for letting me photograph this moment in your history together. It was a joy for me!
|Lucca!!! I just can't get over how CUTE this boy is! From the moment I walked into their home, Lucca was all smiles. Smiles and giggles. It wasn't for me though. It was for his Grandmother and Great Grandmother. They were my back up comedy duo providing all the great reasons to smile.
When Karen contacted me to photograph her grandson, I was thrilled. I mean really, this boy was made for the camera. I think my comedy act of Karen and Marcy tired out long before Lucca did. If anyone needs some comic relief, please contact Karen and Marcy.
Karen, thank you again for letting me photograph your beautiful grandson!
