|Tate is FOUR! this time he celebrated in a different style at The Cookie Workshop in Trumbull, CT. What a great place to host a birthday party! There was plenty of dough rolling, cookie cutting, and decorating for everyone. Make your own cookie style was a hit!
Once the cookies were rolled out and cut, in the oven they went, and everyone took some time to decorate their box. There was a Dr. Seuss colored cupcake tower and plenty of balloons to go around. Tate, you are one very lucky, and very adorable boy and I am so happy I was able to share in your special party. Thank you Amy and Brett for inviting me along to photograph it :)
Happy Birthday my little friend!
Head down to the bottom to see Tate's slideshow. Enjoy!
|Oh yeah! This is what I call cuteness at its best! Meet Lisa and her gorgeous three sons Brody, Rory, and Charlie. Each one of them made my job so easy, not only because of their good looks, but because of their fun personalities as well.
We met on the beautiful Stony Creek Trolley Trail here in Branford right when everything had that sweet golden coloring. I knew Lisa's sense of style would prevail and it did. Everyone was dressed perfectly to go with the landscape. It was all good. Lisa is one of my favorites, and not just because she laughs at my dopey sense of humor, but because she is a genuinely good person who is always smiling and kind.
Lisa, thank you for letting me photograph the four of you. It meant so much to me. Keep up the smiles my friend :)
|From the moment I met this family, I was hooked. Every single time that I'm in their presence I have the best time! Justin, Kristen, Avery, and Carly have one of the most special bonds that I have ever seen. They are respectful, loving, kind, exceptionally hilarious and, more importantly, they laugh at my humor. It's a perfect mix.
For their family session, we made our way to a fun little beach in Southport where Fall was boasting it's beautiful colors and the rich buttery light was everywhere. This family knows how much I love the butter :) Even with the cold temperatures, they held on like troopers. That last hour of the day is the best and we soaked up every second of it.
Thank you Kristen, Justin, Avery, and Carly for always being so awesome! I absolutely LOVE hanging out with all of you! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
|It's that time of year again when I get to blog about all the sessions that I did for holiday cards. It's hard to unveil the images before the cards go out. I would never want to ruin the excitement of the cards and gifts. So.....now it's time!
Two of my favorite kids are kicking it off. It's time for Tucker and Parker! I am beyond psyched to photograph these two every year, and even if it's freezing cold and a REALLY quick session, they always bring their best every time! I have so much fun with them and even more fun with their mom who always has me laughing the whole time.
Tracee, next time we are going to pick a day when it's above freezing. I do love though that you are so in tune with my love for the buttery light and go along with my timing for the session. You are the best! xoxoxo
