|Where do I even begin in describing how much fun I had with this family?! I still can't believe it was the first time that we met. Helen's sense of humor made me feel like we had known each other for a long time. Russell, I don't know how you do it! haha. When Helen contacted me to photograph her baby boy Nicholas, aka Bubba, I was psyched but when she asked me to come to Brooklyn I was even happier. I had never been to Brooklyn and couldn't wait for the chance to check it out. What a cool place! I can just tell that Bubba is going to have one heck of a life ahead of him.
Thank you Helen, Russell, and especially Bubba for showing me your Brooklyn and being so much fun to photograph! I can't wait for round two in Nantucket this summer!
|I am beyond excited to share this wedding with you today! Katie and JJ are married! YES! after working with them during their engagement session, I couldn't wait for the chance to photograph them again on their wedding day. Everything about their day was perfect!
They were married in a beautiful ceremony at the First Church of Christ in Glastonbury and made their way, in a gorgeous Rolls Royce, to The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station for an amazing reception. The weather was perfect, the ceremony was perfect, the reception was perfect, and the bride and groom were out of this world!
Katie and JJ are two of the nicest people I've ever met and being around each of their families, I quickly figured out how they got that way. They light up a room with their love and kindness and, considering that they are High School sweethearts, their relationship runs deep with history, friendship, and mutual respect. They are each others anchor.
Katie and JJ, I can not thank you enough for letting Renee and I be a part of such a special day for the two of you. I am honored that you chose me to photograph it and I look forward to a lifetime of friendship with the both of you. I wish you nothing but the best! xoxoxo

|Tara and Ed are married and I am beyond excited for these two! If ever there were two people totally perfect for each other, it's these two. When you see them together, you can't help but smile. It is so clear how much they love each other.
This wedding was extra special for me because in my past life, as a paralegal, I worked for Tara's dad, Ken. I feel like, through his photos and many stories, that I got to see Tara grow from a little girl into the beautiful woman she is now. When Tara's mom, Nancy, called me to say that Tara was getting married and they would like me to photograph the wedding, I was overwhelmed with joy! Tara and Ed's family and friends were all so warm and welcoming to Ian and I that we felt instantly at home.
Tara looked stunning in her dress from April Rose. With her make-up done by Maureen Sullivan, and flowers by
Madison Flower Shop, Ed didn't stand a chance and made that clear when he first laid eyes on Tara as she walked down the aisle of St. George Church with her brother by her side.
Mother Nature was on our side and kept the rain at bay so everyone could enjoy the beauty of being by the water at the Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club. With music by Night Rhythm, the energy of the day played on through the night. So much happiness, dancing, love, and laughter!
Thank you Tara and Ed for inviting us to photograph your wedding day! I wish you a lifetime of happiness love! xoxoxoxo

|I still can not get over how grown up Kelly and David are! How is it possible that I keep getting younger and all these kids that I knew when they were little have grown up around me! Time just amazes me. So any way, little Kelly and little David are now grown up beautiful Kelly and grown up handsome David. A brother and sister duo who are as nice as they are gorgeous. Seriously!
Kelly and David, I know this post is WAY over due and we are probably gearing up for a spring/summer session by now, but .... better late then never right? haha.
