Love and Joy Unite in a Newport Wedding Celebration for Megan and Jake!
I had the honor of capturing the essence of this special day, which brought together two remarkable souls surrounded by an incredible group of friends and family. Having known Megan's parents since high school, I was doubly blessed to be invited to photograph this wedding. It had extra special meaning for me as Mary and Earl and their children and grandchildren have made their way smack dab into the middle of my heart!
Newport provided the perfect backdrop for Megan and Jake's wedding. With the water, boats, and iconic Newport Bridge behind them, their choice of location demonstrated their desire to create an unforgettable experience for their guests.
As the celebration unfolded, it was clear that every detail was carefully curated to reflect Megan and Jake's unique personalities and style. The flowers by Michelle Jean Floral, the musicians - Golden Scrolls Soloists, who played during the ceremony, the painter, Vesna Longton, the band - Beach Nights, and the Belle Mer itself, were all incredible. But the standout moment of the day was during Megan and Jake's first dance. Megan's sister Taylor added an extra touch of sentimentality by singing a song she wrote that I love! You can hear it in their slideshow below - it's the second song.
My sidekick for the day, Steve, and I were able to capture the candid laughter, shared tears of happiness, and genuine emotions that filled the air throughout the celebration. Megan and Jake's wedding was a true testament to the power of love and family.
Megan and Jake, I'm sending you my heartfelt congratulations, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, love, and cherished memories. Cheers to a long and happy life together!

Family is a beautiful word that encompasses love, joy, and togetherness.
I had the honor of helping Kim, Eric, Kendall, and Luke hold on to these memories together through their family photo session.
Kim and Eric's home in Southampton provided the perfect backdrop for their photos. The atmosphere exuded warmth and tranquility. Even though it was very early Spring, we were able to find beauty in the landscape that hadn't fully woken up.
Their family photo session was a testament to the power of love, togetherness, and cherished memories. It encapsulated the genuine moments of joy, laughter, and playfulness that make this family unique.
Kim and Eric expressed their gratitude for the experience, knowing that these precious photos would serve as a timeless reminder of their love and the beautiful bond they shared as a family. It was a day filled with laughter, silliness, and heartfelt connections and now, they have a gorgeous album to look back at this time for years to come!
Thank you Kim, Eric, Kendall, and Luke for being so incredible to photograph and be with!

Have you ever been so fortunate to meet someone whose beauty, spirit, and kindness are so infectious that you instantly feel like friends? That’s how I felt after meeting Raffaella for her photoshoot. She is one of the most wonderful people I have had the honor of photographing. We had such a great time!
We met at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City and made our way to the High Line. With its elevated views of Manhattan and almost-endless photo opportunities, it’s no surprise why it's such a popular spot!
Raffaella was a total natural in front of the camera. Since her family lives in Paris, Raffaella chose to do this session on her own while she was in for meetings and had a break in between them. She wanted memories of her time in the city since she had had lived there before her move to Paris. It was such an honor to be able to do these photos for her.
The session with Raffaella was truly an unforgettable experience! Her wonderful spirit will stay with me forever as these photos will stay with her.
Thank you so much Raffaella for showing me this gem of a spot in New York City! and now, I can say I've been to the new Restoration Hardware restaurant :) |
“Family is a unique gift that needs to be appreciated and treasured..."
I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing a wonderful family, Colleen, Jeremy, Hannah, Daniel, and Luke at the beautiful
Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens in Stamford, CT. With so many gorgeous spots on the grounds, we had plenty to choose from.
Colleen and Jeremy have three very photogenic children who were more than happy to show off their best smiles! I'm so thankful for families like theirs that make my job so enjoyable! and easy :) They were all so relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
Thank you Colleen, Jeremy, Hannah, Daniel, and Luke! It was an honor to capture your family’s memories and to be a part of your Thanksgiving weekend celebration. |
"Family photo sessions are a reminder that in the midst of our busy lives, it's important to take the time to gather together, to connect, and to cherish each other".
Thanksgiving is a time for family, food, and giving thanks. It's also a perfect time to capture some lasting memories with your loved ones.
Ali, Tom, Caroline, Nicholas, and Lucy were heading off into the holiday weekend to see family, so I knew we had to get everything we needed before they hit the road. With such an easy-going and fun family, it didn't take long at all! The excitement of the holidays had everyone smiling, making it even easier for me to capture their natural happiness.
It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with this adorable family right here in my hometown of Branford. The abundance of great locations for photography here is fantastic. We met at Branford Point - a great spot that has plenty of trees and water for different backdrops. It's a hidden treasure.
Thanks again Ali, Tom, Caroline, Nicholas & Lucy – it was a blast capturing your memories!! Until next time!
