Every single day I feel blessed to do what I do and meet amazing people. I am so appreciative!
I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family at one of my favorite locations in Central Park - Shakespeare Garden. Dolly, CJ, Maya, Asha, and their adorable pup CocoBean were an absolute joy to work with. Even though it was our first time meeting, I felt like we were old friends by the end of the session. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed working with them!
It was late Fall and the gardens were past their prime, but I love that you can find beauty there no matter what season you visit! It made perfect sense to use this as our backdrop since it is so close to where they live and fit them perfectly.
Although it might seem like something small at first glance, capturing families together is something so special. This particular family photo session stands out to me because of how much joy it brought me while taking photos as well as afterward when reflecting on our time together.

I absolutely love at-home sessions! I love them because everyone is always the most comfortable at their own home and the kids can run in and out of the house if they need a break. Everything is familiar and there is always time to run, play games, or have a snack, if needed.
When Keeley invited me to her home, in Greenwich, CT, to photograph her family I knew it was going to be special. The moment I met Keeley, Chris, Annabelle Burke, and their adorable dog, Larry, I was instantly psyched for their photos. Just look at them! They’re gorgeous!
As soon as the door opened, I could tell they were excited and ready to go. We set out exploring the property in search of the perfect spot for photos – and we most definitely had plenty of choices! With the beautiful light and scenery available right outside their door, there was no shortage of awesome backdrops as we went through our session.
The kids were great throughout the photos and we ended the session with playtime on the swings. Family, laughter, happiness ~ priceless!

This family holds an extra special place in my heart. Meet my nephew, Collin, with his incredible wife Pip and their adorable daughter, Harper!
I can't say enough about these three - suffice it to say, I love them to pieces! We picked the beach near their home for their photos. This is definitely a water family so the beach is perfect for them. Harper had fun roaming around and being her hysterical self the whole time.
I've been fortunate enough to witness the love between these three, and when I asked them if I could take some photos of them, they enthusiastically said yes! Thank you Collin and Pip for that!
The way Harper lights up when she looks at Collin and Pip is nothing short of amazing - it's enough to make your heart burst.
Harper is definitely her parents daughter with just the right mix of sassy, funny, sweet, and cute. With Collin and Pip as her parents, how could she be anything but hysterical!

I had the pleasure of working with Tatiana, Olivier, Amélie, and Valerie at Rye Town Park and Beach in New York for their first family photo session. We picked a beautiful location that was full of Fall foliage and warm light. Their gorgeous smiles rounded out the scene perfectly!
Before each family photo session, I always have a telephone consultation to get to know the family and what they envision for their session. By having this call beforehand, we can discuss all the details such as location, clothing choices, and expectations so that everything runs smoothly during the session. When I spoke with Tatiana before their session I knew it was going to be special—and it certainly did not disappoint! This is one of the most amazing families I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
I always make sure to capture those special moments between siblings—the ones that are full of laughter and joy! It was truly delightful watching Amelie and Valerie interact during our time together. The connection between them is undeniable. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love being a photographer so much!

Meeting a new family and photographing them in a new location is always exciting for me!
When Indira contacted me to photograph her family at their home in Larchmont, NY, I was psyched to explore a new place and meet a new family. With the beautiful fall foliage as our backdrop, it couldn’t have been more perfect! The misty weather only added a special touch of coziness and the canopy of trees offered us protection from the dampness.
We started at a park near their home that provided just the right amount of beauty for our photo shoot. Kai, Indira, LLeah, Kyra, Zander, and Benji were so easy to be with. Lleah walked along side me chatting away like we were old friends. We trekked through trails and found fantastic spots for photos along the way.
This family showed me so much kindness and were incredible to photograph. I can't wait to see with them again! |
