As a family photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing many beautiful moments in people's lives. But there is something extra special about photographing a father and daughter together. Especially when their bond and relationship is as strong as Scott and Audrey's.
I arrived at their home so we could ensure that their new puppy, Luna, was able to get in some of the photos. I certainly love that puppy energy! Luna's awesome. After some fast zoomies, Luna headed back inside so we could make our way to the nearby beach.
Let me just tell you, Scott and Audrey are incredible together! Scott is a such a great dad which was so evident in how kind, funny, and polite Audrey was. I could have hung out with these two all day.
I love that Scott also thought to take us to a special spot near the boats, where they would often go to sit and talk. I love the sentimental side of my family sessions. That's what it's all about.

Building memories - one family session at a time!
When we get caught up in the speed of life, sometimes we need an excuse, a reminder, to slow down and enjoy the moment in front of us. It may be fleeting moments at times, but when the whole family plans to be together, that's the time to put everything on hold and grab onto that bliss.
There is nothing quite like the pure laughter of a family coming together without any technology pulling at their attention. The joy is so contagious.
Anne, Peter, Ava, Rob, and Jake exuded love, laughter, and joy from the start. These are the times when I want to put my camera down and jump right into the group hug!

Meeting Aditi, Hrishikesh, Rayna, and Harman at their home in East Quogue and exploring the beaches was such a treat for me. This family knows how to bring the fun!
We had the most beautiful day for their photo session. There had been a storm that brought in larger than normal waves that added to the already stunning landscape. The best part was that each member of the family was up for getting their toes in the sand and playing along the waters edge.
Everything about our session was fantastic, one that I wish I could do every week! Here's to more families just like this one in 2024!

After meeting this family, I really wish I could speak French!
I was enamored with the sound of their accents and how beautiful the French language is. I could have sat and listened to them all afternoon but, alas, there were photos to be taken and memories to make.
I met Sebastien, Celine, Josselin, Justine, and Corentin right across from their home in a beautiful area of Central Park. We had a short window of time but made the most of it - and that's all we needed. This family was all smiles and gorgeousness right from the start so it wasn't long before we had everything we needed to ensure they had amazing memories of this time together.

We did it again!
Let me sum it up by saying - Nantucket + bubbles + Amy, Brett, and Tate = another incredible photo session!
From the moment I met Tate years ago, I knew his interest in learning was off the charts! This boy is smart! Another reason I love seeing him every year - I always learn something. He's curious and that makes me curious. So this time I brought bubbles. Great big giant bubbles! the ones that create amazing shapes and colors. Watching Tate make so many great bubbles thrilled me. The bubble session was a hit!
Since our first few sessions involved beachy landscapes with sand, waves, and lots of jumping in the water, we took a different path this time. We met at the UMass Boston Field Station and explored our way out to the tip with it's gorgeous view of the water. Spectacular!
