|When all you wanted was a headshot for business and I talk you into bringing the family along :)
I met with Carolyn, Matt, Madeline, Dashiell, and Henry at a beautiful park near their home in New York City. What a gorgeous and kind family!
Although it all started with a simple headshot request, it quickly morphed into family photos and why not! Madeline had just come back from College, the boys were around, and because I photograph later in the day, work hours were not an issue. Fantastic! we had everyone.
I love finding these little nooks where we always "seem" to have the place to ourselves. Sometimes I can't believe we're in New York City - where are all the people? haha!
What a joy it was to not only get the headshots taken care of but to be able to create an album for Carolyn of her whole family together - what a memory for her!
In this digital age, it's easy to rely on our smartphones to capture every moment. Yet, there's something unique and, even magical, about having a professional family photographer there to capture your family's essence. The lighting, the backdrop, the guidance through comfortable and natural poses, these are just a few reasons to elevate your experience with a professional family photographer.
You're family is way too important to settle on less than the best!
|Central Park in the heart of New York City is a place that holds a special kind of lush green magic inside a busy and noisy cityscape.
I recently had the privilege of photographing Liana, Michael, and their charming 4-year-old son, Timothy, in Shakespeare Garden. This corner of Central Park provided the ideal backdrop for a memorable family photo session.
Liana, Michael, and their son Timothy, had a great time exploring Shakepeare Garden. The photographs from the session are a testament to the genuine love and happiness shared by them.
If you're considering a family photo session, I highly recommend exploring this corner of Central Park. Liana, Michael, and Timothy's session in Shakespeare Garden is a beautiful example of what can be achieved in this stunning location, and I'm grateful to have been a part of it.
|Jenna and Lee's wedding at the New Haven Lawn Club was a testament to the love they share. Lee, being from England, had a great big group of family and friends who crossed the Atlantic to celebrate this special day with them! That's huge love!
The New Haven Lawn Club was a great match for them - a historic, elegant, and picturesque venue that provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. From the beautiful ballroom, where their ceremony took place, to the seamless transformation into a stunning reception room. It had the perfect mix of elegance and fun! Fun is definitely the key word here...England and America blended into quite the party!
Jenna and Lee are a match made in heaven. Their love for each other was evident in every smile and every look they gave each other. These two were meant to be together, and I am so so happy that I got to witness this part of their journey!
Jenna and Lee, your day was filled with so much love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The joy shared by your family and friends and the love you two share, made your wedding day truly remarkable. It was a celebration of love that will be remembered by all who were fortunate to witness it.
Thank you for letting me be a part of it! xoxoxoxo
Be sure to see the slideshow of their wedding day, under the last photo and Enjoy!
|There's something truly magical about early morning sessions. Everything is quieter, dewier, and gentler. I'm so used to photographing families before sunset so, when Emily and BJ asked for an early morning spot, I was excited to try something different.
Their new home in Greenwich, CT had a big beautiful yard which was perfect for our session. Little Harrison, with his handsome face, tousled hair, and incredible smile, was able to explore and look for dandelions while his baby brother Grant enjoyed being smothered with his moms kisses. What a cute family!
Thank you Emily and BJ for letting me photograph this new chapter in your lives. It was an honor and a joy for me!
