The thought of posing for a photo can be intimidating for many people, and even more so when parents have to not only consider themselves, but also their kids. Having your photo session on a beautiful and quiet beach is certainly a cure for stiff, unnatural posing and fake smiles. When there is a chance to run around and play, you can't help but laugh and smile naturally. It's way too much fun for serious faces!
Meeting Kimberly, Leigh, Avery, and Alexa on one of the most beautiful beaches in Sag Harbor, NY was such a gift for me. I was in awe of the beauty around me and how quiet and unpopulated it was. It was the perfect spot to photograph this family. They ran, they played, they laughed, and they loved. This family is a gem.
