Oh MY! would you just look at this gorgeous family that I had the honor to photograph! I can't even begin to tell you what a joy it was for me to be in the company of this family! When Kristen contacted me to set up a session at her parents home, I was thrilled. This would be where she and her sisters and their families would be reuniting after a very long quarantine and the energy was of pure happiness.
There is something so special about photographing a family in their own home. Whether it be inside, or out in the yard, the home is where one feels most comfortable. The grandkids get to play, spend time with their family, be happy, and all of their "stuff" is right there for them if they need it, like toys and snacks. Even the family dog can run out and make an appearance and then run back inside. If clothes get stained, or someone wants to change for any reason, you have everything you need right where you are. One other important reason I love about photographing families at their homes is that every setting is unique. Nobody will have images like yours.
Bitsy and Joe, your yard provided the most beautiful backdrop for your gorgeous family. Thank you both for being so much fun! I can tell how much your three daughters and their families love you!
