Fire Island, NY Family Session of the L family : NY Family Photographer

Now that it's getting colder, let me take you back to the warmth of summer - to a magical place called Fire Island. I had the good fortune to be invited this summer, to photograph Mark, Marilyn, Scarlett, Chuck, and Veronica at their summer home on Fire Island. What a beautiful place. When Mark told me there were no cars on the island, I was curious as to how I would get from the ferry to their home. Wagons. Everything is transported with little wagons. Luckily, the ferry, the house, and the beach were all within walking distance from each other and made the adventure that much easier. It's quite a place. When you stand in the middle of the "street" you can look to the left and the right and see water on both sides. So cool.
Mark and Marilyn were so hospitable and their three children were absolutely amazing to photograph. Add a wide open, beautiful beach to the mix, and I was in heaven.
