Hammonasset State Park Family Session of The Y Family : CT Family Photographer

This was one of the most special sessions I have ever done. It was 15 years ago when I first had the honor to photograph Liz and John on their wedding day at West Point. Fast forward to this past September, and the family has grown tremendously. The proud Grandparents, Dotty and Rick, were beaming from ear to ear as their 8 grandchildren - count 'em..1,2,3,4,5,6,7 & 8, surrounded them on the rocks of Hammonasset State Park. Numbered and color coded were the little cousins, making it so easy for me to know who went with who. Liz, John, James, Kiera, Livvie, Bill, Kelly, Catherine, Clara, John, Grace, Lila, Kenya, Tiason, and last but not least, Dotty and Rick - you were all so amazing to photograph!

When I tell you that these are the kindest, most generous and thoughtful people around, I am not kidding! From military service, to medical service, to teaching and to crafting beautiful cards for the soldiers, just to name a few, this family does it all.

Dotty and Rick, you must be incredibly proud of this great big beautiful family you have given this world to enjoy. Thank you for letting me photograph them all! xoxoxoxo

Hammonasset State Park Senior Session of Megan : CT Senior Photographer

I'm not getting older - you are! yeesh! this seems to be my theme this year, as all those little kids I photographed way back when are now seniors in High School. It's so crazy to see how much has changed over the years. Megan was just a baby a second ago when I created my very first business card with her on it! Of course, I had to put the old card in this post. I love to see how my business, and my photography skills have evolved.

Now that little baby on the card is all grown up. Be forewarned, I'm going to be a bit all over the place in this post. My emotions about getting older are in high gear with this session. Just to show you the changes, I put some of the before and afters on here too. Not only of Megan, but also of her sister Gianna as well. This little peanut came along for Megan's session and showed me just how grown up she has become when she stood in front of my camera. Come on! Gianna, you're a rock star!

Terry, you have the most awesome daughters! You should be so proud. I am beyond grateful that you have been in my life for so long. We have so many stories and so many more stories to create. These moments are all being strung together to create this great big beautiful picture of our lives. Thank you for letting me be a part of yours. xxxxx

Wickham Park Family Session of the M Family : CT Family Photographer

Remember the days when the hydrangeas were at their peak and the temperatures were warm enough for shorts? Well, let me take you back to that time and get you away from all this ice and cold. Picture this...Wickham Park at the height of it's beauty - butterflies wafting by in a gentle breeze, birds chirping, and sun shining. Now, add in five adorable brothers and their parents, all on their best behavior, and up for a photo session. That is the perfect mix of everything I love all wrapped up with this family session!

Thank you Mike, Jessica, Alan, Michael, Matthew, Coby, and Sebastian for being such a great family to be with and photograph!

Hammonasset State Park Family Session of The C Family : CT Family Photographer

Seeing children happy is one of the best feelings in the world! The sounds of them laughing is the ultimate. This family session had it all. Even though little Cece had a slow start in the smile department, she came in strong at the end with loads of giggles. Jojo and her husband, Todd, are raising two joy filled and adventurous children. They were all so much fun to photograph! When you include the uncle and the grandparents to the session, you can't help but see the joy overflowing. So many memories were made during our time together and now, the kids have these memories forever through these photographs.

The greatest legacy you can leave your children are happy memories. Jojo and Todd, you are definitely doing that!

Thank you for letting me be a part of it! :)

Hammonasset State Park Senior Session of Alex : CT Senior Photographer

How is it possible that this little boy or, not so little boy, is the same as that little boy that I photographed sooooooo many years ago! I just had to add the last two photos of that time we did his photo session at the golf course. The club is just about bigger then he is. Alex, you have grown into such an awesome young man. Tall, handsome, kind, patient (especially with me, haha), and an all around great guy. Seeing how you interacted with your mom during this session showed me what a kind soul you have. You are going to have a fantastic future and I can't wait to see all the good you do out there in the world.

Thank you Alex and Dawn for letting me hang out with you again. It's always great to see you. Go gettem' Alex!
