|What a beautiful afternoon for a family session! When Mr. O contacted me that all of his grandchildren would be together for their 50th wedding anniversary, I knew I wanted to be there to help them create memories of this very special time.
One family rented a house on the water right around the corner from me so it made it even better! It was a perfect location. Although we had plenty of "posed" photos, it was the playful side of the kids that I loved so much. Uncle Patrick provided some great football fun creating the most wonderful, joyous, expressions. I can still hear their laughter and see the fun unfolding in front of us as they ran for the ball.
This is a very special family and to be able to have all the grandkids together was priceless. Thank you for letting me be a part of your fun and a very happy anniversary to the proud grandparents, Bob and Barbara! I wish you many many more years of love and happiness together!
|If you can make sunset work, that's fantastic! however, sometimes it doesn't happen exactly as we plan but we head out to the beach anyway. This time, we were sitting next to some very dark clouds, some far off rain, and a less then ideal sunset. The good news? we had the entire beach to OURSELVES! It couldn't have worked out any better!
I met Rachael, Graham, Juniper, and their handsome pup, Franklin at Hammonasset Beach State Park. They were adventurous enough to drive from Boston to one of my favorite beaches for their session. I still can't get over how incredible it all was.
This is definitely not the time of year to have the beach to yourself, but we did and it was perfect. It was as if we put a ginormous sand box in front of Juniper and said "now, go play". She was in her glory running around.
Graham and Rachael, you are amazing parents and Juniper is so lucky to have you! Thank you for letting me help document this part of your story together. Your story, and the album we created, are everything :)
|Well, now I know - energetic kids and street art are a GREAT mix! From wall to wall to wall, Molly, Ethan, and I made our way down one of the streets in SoHo finding exciting art spaces to photograph in front of. Street art and graffiti make a fantastic back drop and this sister and brother duo enhanced the coolness factor. We were looking for a love wall for Molly, but to our disappointment, someone had recently painted over it so we scoped out new places that worked perfectly. Having a passion for art, Ethan fit right into the Art Is My Healing wall. Molly looked awesome in front of everything we found!
For someone who is found photographing at the beach so much, I found these graffiti walls to be a fantastically colorful step outside my norm. Thank you to Molly, Ethan, and especially their mom, Jennifer, for introducing me to such a great location. What a blast!
I can't wait for the next time!
|Now that it's nice and warm out, let me take you back to a FREEZING cold day in November. Yes, Brrrrrrrr! I caught up with Tim, Suzanne, Doug, and Alyse at their summer home in Old Saybrook. The location is ideal - right on the water. With sand under our feet and that gorgeous end of day light, it was all so perfect. The temperature on the other hand, well....
These four were such troopers though. They let me take them around a bit and photograph them until the sun set. I can't even begin to express how much I adore this family. Every single one of them is so kind and so easy to be with, but together, they are an amazingly loving family. Plain and simple - they make me smile :)
Thank you all for sharing your beautiful family and beach with me. I always love our time together. xoxoxoxo

|I still can't believe how grown up these kids are getting! I have been photographing Tucker since he was sooooo small and now he soars right over me! If I could only slow time down (well then I'd be a gazillionaire). Parker, you are growing into such a beautiful young girl, I mean you were always beautiful, but come ON look at you! you're gorgeous!
I met Tucker, Parker, and their awesome Mom, Tracee, at Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown for some fall foliage photos. It was a little chilly. Well maybe a LOT chilly but they persevered. Lucky for them, the sun was setting quickly and they didn't have to put up with me for too long :)
I absolutely LOVE when I get to photograph these two! They keep me laughing but no where near as much as their mom does! Next time - Mom & Dad are getting in the photos too! right Tracee??
