This beautiful late day session on the beach in Fairfield, CT was with one of my favorite families. Joleen, Bill, Makena, and Amelia were joined by Joleen's mother - a wonderful intergenerational moment. I love when families include the grandparents. Call me a sentimental old fool, but I cherish these moments when I see grandparents with their grandchildren having laughs together. These are such precious times.
The buttery light surrounded us, of course making me extra happy! Lighting at the beach makes a significant difference, enhancing an already warm moment. It offers such a flattering glow, reducing harsh shadows and enhancing skin tones - and who doesn't want that! :)
When you're planning your sessions, keep in mind that hour before sunset as the most flattering time for photos. Soft light is always a good thing! |
