As hints of spring begin to appear, there's no better backdrop for family portraits than the vibrant cherry blossoms that show up like cotton candy floating out of the trees. I am always amazed by those little puffs of pink clouds. They're so beautiful!
I met Yasmine and Amir with their two adorable children, Karim and Salma, at a gorgeous location - Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck, NY. It was full of cherry blossoms! Little Salma, who was dressed in pink and white looked like a little cherry blossom herself - so cute! This very chill and very fun family, with their infectious smiles, made photographing them sooooo easy.
If you're planning a similar photo session, timing is everything. Cherry blossoms have a short blooming period, so plan your session accordingly. Typically, they bloom in late April to early May. Spring is always such an amazing time to me. It's always brimming with renewal and joy! |
