When you want to celebrate a big event, like a Bat Mitzvah, with 200 of your favorite friends and family, you head to Lighthouse Point Park and go straight to the carousel! This place is a haven for fun! Of course, it helps when your entire family and alllllll of your friends are a blast and the music is so so so dance worthy!
Betsy and Rob threw an unbelievable party for their daughter Emily in honor of her Bat Mitzvah and I had the honor of photographing it with my sidekick Robin. We had so much fun! With six kids and a carnival themed party to plan, it's a wonder Betsy was even standing that night, haha!
To give you a little idea of how great the day was, Click here for the Slideshow and turn up your speakers. Glee is top of Emily's list so you know I had to add some songs from it :)
Congratulations Emily! xoxoxo

I love photographing events like these! There is so much emotion and so much happiness. You can just feel the bonds of friendships made over the years. It makes me all sentimental for my high school days.
This is the second year that Maja and Michael entrusted me to photograph their family after Choate's Graduation. Last year, it was Madaleine's turn and this year, Michael has graduated.
I met up with the family after the commencement ceremony had ended and all were fed and cooled off. How can you not smile on a day like this! Friendships that have grown over the course of the years and an entire future ahead, it was a very big day of celebration.
Thank you Maja and Michael for letting me photograph your family once again, and, congratulations Michael! I know your future is going to be amazing! |
I had the honor of photographing a handsome and joyful young man's first birthday party a few weeks ago and it was SO much fun! I introduce you to Tate. This is one very lucky little boy with a kind and loving family and an incredible amount of wonderful friends surrounding him on his very first birthday. His mom, Amy, contacted me to photograph Tate's party and I had a blast. It was great to meet and photograph so many wonderful people. Thank you Amy for letting me capture such an important event in Tate's life!

I don't even know where to begin to tell you how much this family means to me. I have been photographing Tina, Greg, Allegra, and Mitchell for about six years now and each time I see them I just adore them more and more! The occasion this time was a celebration party for the holidays and also for Tina and Greg's 25 years of marriage. The event was held at the Dolce Center Norwalk and with Tina's complete holiday make-over of the Dolce Center, it was absolutely beautiful! I think Tina bought up every last cranberry in Norwalk. The time and effort that she put in to this party would put Martha Stewart to shame. There were Christmas trees, lights, white branches, birds, crystals, cranberries, and ornaments, to name just a few of the fabulous details. All thanks to Tina! There was so much laughing, dancing, and love surrounding the entire place that I caught myself with a big grin on my face the entire night.
Thank you Tina, Greg, Allegra, and Mitchell for being such an amazing and kind family and for letting me be a part of it! |
Robert celebrated his Bar Mitzvah on Saturday and I was in awe of his ability to read flawlessly in Hebrew, portions from the Torah, the scrolls, and the Haftorah. After years of study, he entered into a new phase in his life and celebrated with a Yankee-themed bash at the Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club here in Branford, CT. I loved spending the day with his family and friends who not only tore up the dance floor, but who showed me some new dance moves as well.
Thank you Michael, Jane, Stephanie, Rob, and James for a fantastic day! |
The gorgeousness which are his siblings! |
I was in heaven with the Yankee theme! |
